Keg at Les Berthom, Nancy. A relatively clear and lightweight west coast IPA which nonetheless made it emminently drinkable. Fresh and hoppy.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Near black, small head. Aroma of caranmel, coffee and freshly cut bell pepper. Sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, mild syrup, some chocolate. Quite intense chili heat.

Can from Erlings Flaskebutik @ Home. Pours hazy yellow with a white head, light lacings. Aroma of light malt, fruity hops, tropical fruit, pineapple, light citrus. Flavor is light sweet, little malt, fruity hops, tropical fruit, pineapple, citrus. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 230424

Hierbei handelt es sich um ein Laborbier 🧪, das mit Sabro, Simcoe und Cryopop-Hopfen sowie der namensgebenden Wyeast 1318-Hefe gebraut wurde. Das Bier schafft es mit seinen extremen Fruchtnoten tatsächlich aus den inzwischen Ummengen NEIPAs rauszustechen und zu begeistern. So kommen Orange 🍊, Kokosnuss 🥥, Ananas 🍍 und Mango 🥭 wirklich toll raus und im Abgang kommt dann noch der Eiszuckerl-Geschmack ❄️ der Cryo-Hopfen. Ein wirklich tolles, intensives aber angenehm trinkbares Bier.

Eine wahre Himbeer- Explosion 💥💨, die auf einem sehr leichten, fast schon wässrigen 🌊 Körper aufbaut. Dies stört allerdings nicht so sehr, da die Himbeeren wirklich toll fruchtig-frisch sind. Kein klassisches Bier, aber es hat seine Vorzüge.
