Bottle ordered from Inn At Home, Newbury. Aroma combines resin and citrus, with sweet malts. Copper gold. Creamy white head. Medium bitter. Sour citrus streak. Resinous quinine marmalade. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Dry astringent finish. Old school British IPA. I like the bottle - no label, the artwork and script are printed directly on the brown bottle in gold. But the beer is a bit too astringent.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Dec 20. Thanks haddock for this real ale. Amber appearance, well-apportioned off-white head. Soft malty nose. Medium to light bodied, gentle carbonation, gentle malt-led bitter character, a little subdued but probably better on cask. Ok overall.

Fra fat på GBBF aug-19: klar gylden med fint skum som varer. Mulig at dette var fra slutten av en cask, da både aroma og smak var ufrisk og litte imøtekommende. Pretty awful. Maybe I was served the last drops from this particular cask?
