Half, hand pulled cask at Angel, Manchester. Slightly cloudy, amber-gold body. Decent white head that laces well. Aroma of fresh fruity hops. Ditto fresh fruity taste with peaches joined by a mild spicy touch. Rounded bitter endnotes. A little floury in the mouth. Average for the style (23.01.2013).

Cask, half pint at Mark Addy in Salford. Hazy, dark golden body. Film-type layer. Good amount of lacing down the glass. Fresh fruity hops to the nose. Super fresh fruity taste added by earth malts and followed by a restricted bitter fruity finish. Ok (Greater Manchester, 22.01.2013).

Sweet wheat beer aroma, plenty in its taste too. Has a flat appearance and is heavily clouded making it a dirty deep tangerine coloured beer.

Cask dispense into a UK half pint jug at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham (Feb ’12). Pours a ruby black colour (dark chestnut brown held to the light) with a small tan head. Roasted malts on the nose and a little dried fruits and coffee. Taste wise, again roasted malts, a little coffe and chocolate and a smidgen of raisens/dried fruit. Medium bodied stout with a dry aftertaste. The final ’lip smack’ of the aftertaste brought a root beer/germoline flavour to me !!! Overall - OK - not a world beater!
