$12.99 corked bomber from TJ's Charlottesville. Pours black and thick with a dark brown head. Dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, barrel. Flavor is slightly sweet chocolate, dark roasted coffee, vanilla, barrel, roasted malt bordering char (but not quite there), bourbon. Really nice. If this was cheaper I'd stock up.

Bottle purchased from a local Trader Joe's. Poured a clear golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was light sweet malts, light grain. Some mild grassy hops. Clean, crisp. Easy to drink. Decent for what it's going for.

Still carbonation. Also some oxidation now, but still I'm fairly good form. Sweet malt and dried fruit. Unibroue yeast. Consumed 2/8/20

Nice deep framboise aroma with mellow tannins, looks like deep velvet body and minimal foam. Flavour is very tart fruits with good carbonation. Not bad though a little simple and thin.

Jesus this is bad. Not sure what discriminates this from their lager, taste very similar with harsh grainy notes, corn, acetaldehyde. Light bitterness.

750 ml corked and caged. Aroma is banana, grain, clove. Pours hazy golden with a decent white head with decent retention. Taste is sweet and spicy with a hint of tartness, finishing dry; flavors of banana, clove. Highly carbonated foamy mouthfeel. Some really nice Belgian flavors here.

Bottle at the December Ratebeer DC Tasting. Poured a dark cola color with a small tan head. Aroma was strong dark brown sugar notes, nutty notes and herbal spices. Flavor was dark fruits, light raisin and toffee.

Bottle. Pours clear mahogany with a medium tan head. Aroma is toffee, dried figs and Belgian yeast. Taste is light plus sweet, light bitter. Medium body, high carbonation.
