Canned from on tap at Made Inn and drunk at home. Dark unctious almost black beer no head Strong coffee aroma. Lots of coffee and chocolate on flavour. lots and lots of coffee some dryness on the finish. hides abv well. pretty decent. slight oil.

Foamy white head left a large frothy cover on a hazy, vivid amber coloured still body. Pine, resin & malt aroma. Medium to full, smooth & tingly on the back. Pithy, resinous, marmalade, grapefruit & malt tastes with an extremely long bitter finish. Palate Wrecker!

Pretty cloudy orange blond beer, small creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: tropical fruits, pineapple, dank hops, bit sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice bitterness, resinous, juicy, hoppy, grapefruit, good stuff! Aftertaste: very bitter, resinous, tropical fruits, grapefruit, hopy, dank hops, orange peel, some ripe melons.

500ml can. Black with a thin brown head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts. Taste is dominated by the coffee and roasted malts, dark malt/chocolate. Medium body, although a little thin for the strength, smooth.

Keg @ Marble Bewery, Salford Quays. Black with a very small head. It has less aroma than expected, but has plenty of gritty coffee in taste. It’s dense textured and has a notable strength evident within too.

500ml can. Opaque pale gold, small white head. Aroma of ripe citrus fruits. Taste of citrus, orange, pine, subtle berries, pithy grapefruit. Medium body. Really lovely pale ale.

Clear blond to gold beer, big creamy white head, stable, irregular leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice, bit malty, grains, hay, some cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit oxidized, sweet, malty, caramel touch, pretty bitter, some orange peel, grains, some tropical fruits, nice! Aftertaste: bit malty, good bitterness, some caramel, bit spicy, good stuff!

Clear dark brown beer, small dense creamy beige head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: very malty, grains, cow fodder, lots of caramel, some dulce de leche, mocha, hint of milk chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, soft roast, soft acidity, hint of red fruits, very faint, hint of chili. Aftertaste: still very malty, bit acidic, grains, hay, cow fodder, maybe some cherries, meh, not a big fan.
