Established in 1994
Beginning in 1994 with a 7 barrel converted dairy system, we set and accomplished the goal of providing unique traditional ales & lagers available through OHB. Quickly we outgrew that system.
In 1997, we began the renovation of an 1880 Historic Landmark building, which now houses our brewing facilities, a 25-barrel Price Schonstrom brew house.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of sincereNC. Pours a very dark brown - close to black - with a vague orange hue and a small beige head. Hard roast nose, some oats and a sweet edge. Solid body, heavy roast and dark fruits, some licorice with a massive bitterness from both malts and hops. Fairly straight hard roast Impy - a little rough perhaps. 180311

Dark brown-black. Really nice resiny citrus hop aromatics, light roastiness in the malts but otherwise they don’t do much.

Cloudy amber with a small off-white head. The aroma has grainy malt, some dusty herbal notes and coconut and other bourbon notes. Sweet and cloying boozy flavour with lots of bourbon
