Can from Drinkmonger. Murky golden/amber body with a white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of just-opened hop bag and minerals. Flavour of chalk, pineapple and a bitter, biting finish. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. It’s too raw and bitter to be a NEIPA but it’s a decent beer overall, with lots going on for the ABV.

Can from Eel & Bear Hastings and drunk at home. Hazy orange gold colour lasting white head. Looks quite fizzy. Tropical fruit aroma. A little earthy. Doesn't have that thick mouthfeel which is good for me. No dankness. Just big fruity mango and passion fruit and tangerine. I liked it. Some bitterness on the finish. Good fruit. Impressive from Arundel which has been a traditional brewery.

Can: Poured a pitch black with huge carbonated creamy light brown head. Aroma was strong maple syrup from the pop of the top. Taste is super maple syrup, sweet, boozy, sticky candy, finish is drying and fruity.

Can split at CBC Covent Garden, thanks to Danny, 20/11/18. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a well presented off white covering. Nose is yeast esters, lemon tinged straw, toasted grains, airy malts, tangerine. Taste comprises grassy bite, faint herb, lemon rind, good yeast tickle, tangy citric rinds, stale bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent saison.

Craft TCR Bottleshare. Thanks to Dan the man for the can. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy and semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, a thin dry creamy sweetness. Modest saison herb. Thin floral citrus. Light dry finish. Standard stuff but notably thin.

Can shared in London - cheers to Danny. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Strong Belgian yeast aroma. Medium sweet flavour, lots of doughy wheat, some pear, saison yeast. Meisum bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet bready finish, more wheat and ripe citrus, plenty of yeast expression. Not bad.
