500ml bottle [yet another Christmas gift from Grumbo - thanks a lot!]. Slightly cloudy, copper-ish, dark amber to brown colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, minimally toasty, caramel malty and spicy aroma with a minimally floral, soapy bathsalt touch, hints of cinnamon, a touch of lavender. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally toasty, caramel malty, floral, minimally soapy, spicy, hints of cinnamon and lavender. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft carbonation. Rather restricted cinnamon flavours, ginger-like soapiness (without ginger spiciness) - OK.

500ml bottle from Gloucester Services. Pours clear mid amber brown with an off white head. Aroma: malt, caramel, light herbal. Taste: light sweet, more malt & caramel. Not much garlic was harmed in the brewing of this beer, it was barely discernible. Light to medium body with loose carbonation.
