Bottle from Cider Barn, Godshill. Aroma combines liquorice and coffee with dark berries and porridge. Dark and glossy. Foamy beige head. Medium bitter. Liqourice. Followed by a malty wave. Underlying dark berry tang eventually comes to the fore. Medium bodied. Creamy. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Pleasant Stout.

Bottle bought at Cider Barn, Godshill. Aroma had light spice and buttery popcorn. Clear amber. Thin foamy white head. Light bitter, light spice. Immediately followed by sugary sweetness. Underlying malts. Light. Thin if slick. Soft carbonation. Long somewhat dry finish. Ultimately I find this sickly sweet. Did not particularly enjoy other than the pleasent palate

Bottle from Cider Barn, Godshill. Aroma is sweet - combining bread and caramel. Clear chestnut brown. Foamy fluffy white head. Light-medium sour berries throughout. Underlying grainy bitterness. There's a sweet chocolate nougat playfulness which is also there for the duration. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat-average carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Pleasant.

500ml bottle from Mansgill Farm Shop. Amber brown colour, thin white foam head and aroma of malt, earthy notes. Taste is malt, toffee, caramel, fruity, with garlic hints, and some earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite OK.

Bottle from the Cider Barn, Godshill. Aroma had honey, sour fruit and biscuits. Clear gold. Thin foamy white head provides 70% coverage. Light-medium metallic bitterness is brief and soon followed up by saccharine sweet fruit and dough with a hint of peripheral citrus sourness. Light. Watery. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Overly sweet almost industrial macro style lager. Not a fan.

Cask (Castle, Sandown) - Light amber. Dried fruit, apricot and a hint of tea in the aroma. Slightly biscuity taste with notes of dried apricot, marmalade and sultanas.
