440 ml can, from Seven Cellars. ABV is 8.3%. Opaque dirty yellow-ish colour with yeast floaties, small white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits and spruce. Rich mouthfeel. Fruity and medium sweet flavour, plenty of citrus and tropical fruits, hints of sprucetips and pine needles, but the bitterness is moderate.

440ml can. Murky, orangey, golden colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Grassy, tropical fruity, slightly citrusy and piney, resinous hoppy and oaty, minimally wheaty, malty aroma, notes of yellow stone fruit, some passion fruit. Taste is sweet-ish, oaty and wheaty malty, tropical fruity, slightly bitter, grassy and piney hoppy, notes of mango, passion fruit, peach, apricot, a touch of pine needles. Mushy texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft carbonation. Almost smoothie-like, very nice combination of tropical fruitiness and more classic, C-hop grassy and piney flavours - very good!

Can at home, from HOTM online, 14/02/21. Hazed orange with a decent lasting just off white cap. Nose is papaya, mango flesh, grapefruit, pineapple, mixed tropicana, sweet malts. Taste comprises pine resin, weed, orange pith, mango, tropical fruit medley, Um Bongo tickle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive juicy hop bitterness. Decent well balanced DIPA ... sweet edges but a bitter backbone ... return to form for Pentrich DIPA's after my last outing which was way over minerally in taste.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 11/02/21. Murky fruit smoothie orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is ripe melon, citric flesh, pine resin, weed, dank chimes, grapefruit, orange pith. Taste comprises big chalky minerals, orange pith, dank strokes, toasted malts, grapefruit zest, pine, spruce tips. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with Passable DIPA ... lacking balance for me and carrying way too big a mineral rinse for my liking. A good few notches below the other Pentrich DIPA's I've had these past 6 months.
