Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham, Sunday 3rd January 2016 consumed at home the same day. Pours black as yer at with a tan head on top. Not so much of an aroma on the nose but there is a little fruity and maltiness to be picked up. Drinks a lot easier than an 8% beer should, thick mouthfeel a nice roastiness and good sweetness, produces a fair amount of hoppy burps, so hops aplenty. The best I’ve had so far from Pentrich.
