The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a smooth, rich malty, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A great British pint!

Gravity cask at the 2018 Winter Beer Festival, Knighton and Clarendon Park Conservative Club. Murky dark olive gold and flat. Naked booze and intense hop aroma. Taste is too strong, too intense and messy. I get a lot of booze and a lot of astringent hop oil but little else. Flat oily body with a massive alcohol burn going down (it's only 8.2% so quite an achievement). Pentrich do lovely APAs and the like but this doesn't gel with me.

30/11/2018. Cask at the Dove Winter Beer Festival, Ipswich. Pours slightly hazy dark gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, caramel, pomelo, passion fruit and grass. Light to moderate sweetness, quite heavy bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Nice bitterness to finish with some dryness and biscuit. Enjoyed it.

Handpull cask at Broood, Leicester. Dark gold, impenetrably hazy. Tangerines, apricot, the sweet/savoury malty aroma of a good Mosaic beer. Taste is laden with hop oils, and seems unwieldy at first with a sourness in the taste. In time however you're left with the intensity of the hoppy bitterness coating your throat. Thick, flat body. Delicious!
