Established in 2014, Brewsmith is a family-run microbrewery based in Ramsbottom, Bury.

We produce a range of cask, keg and bottle conditioned ales incorporating our favourite flavours and ingredients.

Our emphasis is on quality and attention to detail to produce a range of ales we are proud of.

Gravity dispense at EBF ’24, 04/08/16. Light hazed on a golden pour with a decent off white cap. Nose is light floral notes, orange peel, straw, bread. Taste comprises lemon rind, straw, bready malts, bitter citrics. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close. Ok ... bitter in name ... golden blonde in nature.

Cask (gravity) @ 31th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2014, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Brewsmith Pale ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity malt, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141204]

Cask gravity @ 24th Egham Beer Festival. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty piney hoppy citrus aroma. Fruity malty piney hoppy grassy citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter finish.

Sampled @ GBBF Day 2. Clear dark golden color, small off-white head. Aroma is lightly malt, slightly floral hops. Taste lightly malts, lightly floral, some hops, bitter. Average to decent body and carbonation.

Cask at GBBF 2016. It pours clear gold with a tiny white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, oily, juicy, grassy, green, musty and bread. The taste is smooth, rich, oily, honey, grassy, green hops, spring onion and citrus peel with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Not bad.

Cask at GBBF day 3 11/08/2016. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma. A is earthy grains, farmyard, , grainy, orange grainy . Flavour is composed of earthy grainy, ginger. . Mellow tropical notes. Palate is grainy, semi crisp, good cask condition .
