26/05/2011 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Classica brown ale, schiuma leggera appena persistente color bianco sporca. Forse in cattive condizioni, mi piacerebbe riprovarla.

Pours gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Band aid aromas. Sweet grassy bread upfront turning to mild band aid in the lasting bitter finish.

Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours orange tinged gold with a foamy/creamy off-white head. Floral over light caramel for aroma. Med + body. Frothy carb. Flavor is pretty hoppy - but mostly floral with some fruit. But at the end the bitter really attacked the sides of my tongue. Then it released me. Then it did it again. It’s far from NW bitter, but it’s got a lot of non-harsh hop bitter.

Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours very hazy amber with a foamy transient beige head. It’s a great aroma - perfumey/floral. Full bodied. It’s lightly spicy. It’s firmly malty. It’s very floral. It’s delicious. Think they nailed, nay, improved, the style.

500 ml bottle @ La Cerveteca, Barcelona. Slightly hazy reddish brown body with a big, creamy lasting tan head. Aroma is mild caramel malt, slightly roasted. Flavor is malt, caramel, some hops, slightly roasted and fruity refreshing. Medium body. Feels quite light and straight forward, but some roast and bitterness get more obvious during the aftertaste.
