Associated Venue: Stonehouse Beer & BBQ
Established in 2007
Our brewing plant capacity has been upgraded over the years and now is now 100 brewer’s barrels (28,800 pints) per week, which allows us to meet demand during peak periods. In 2013 we constructed a purpose built, energy efficient brew house, and we’re always looking for ways to improve our environmental impact by saving water and energy.

Third of a pint at the 32nd Shrewsbury Beer Festival on 26th September 2024. Almost black with a beige head, looks a mean Stout and I suppose it is. Roasted/toasted malty front with both chocolate and coffee esters/flavours showing, some hidden leather, earthy notes arrive before a fairly dry finish.

Cask pint after a ride through the Berwyns. Pours a generally clear gold, good white head. Super pillowy golden ale, defined malt husks with a brisk bitterness. Not bad.

Cask pint @ Stonehouse Brewery after a ride through the Berwyns. Pours opaque hazy gold, good white head. Very light and easy drinking.. has a soft exotic fruitiness which seems to fade away quite quickly unfortunately, decent drop but a more luscious full lingering fruity hop character was expected.

Cask Pint @ Stonehouse Brewery on a Saturday afternoon (rare for me!) for their Sausage and Cider fest (I had a cider as well!). Pours a slowly clearing clear gold, good frothy white head. Lovely smooth balanced sweetness, soft almost creamy tone, mild floral citrus and subtle tropical notes.. lovely harmonious pint but lacks a good defined hop character.
