[Cask at the Red Lion, Chalgrove, Oxfordshire] Amber gold with a large white head. Decent amount of zesty lemon up front is unfortunately followed by the floor sweepings from the McVities biscuit factory. A dirty bitterness in the dry finish. Another very average monthly special from Rebellion (and as they don’t seem to update their website any more, I can’t even tell you which month it was the special for). Great pub, though.

Cask at The Junction Tavern, London. An unclear amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel, as well as a lighter note of citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a lightly bitter and buttery finish.
