500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Dec 22. Thanks Mark for this. Clear deep amber, good off-white head. Quite flavoursome this, nice warming caramel, earthy fruitiness.. nuts could be more distinct but it has a nice glowing balanced sweet character.

Cask at Heidrun, HW, 15/10/22. Copper with a decent beige covering. Nose is nutty, light herb, biscuit, stewed fruits. Taste comprises biscuit malts, toffee, hedgerow, straw, grains, trace of dried berry fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close. Okay bitter.

Cask at the brewery taproom. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is malt, light toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a smooth, bready biscuit dough, light sweet treacle toffee, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. God Save the Queen.

Tap at the brewery taproom. Poured a slightly hazy golden yellow colour with a lasting frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is banana, light citrus. The flavour is light sweet, with a light, crisp, slightly watery, clove, citrus palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation. Light and refreshing.
