Cask at the Whip Inn, Laceys Green, 31/08/20. Clear golden blonde with a well presented lasting white head. Nose is airy malts, light citric zest, toasted grains, hint of melon. Taste comprises lemon drizzle, light breads, melon, soft malts, grass. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterness. Decent enough easy drinking and refreshing cask pale.

Growler from the brewery. Poured a clear dark amber colour with a short-lived bubbly white head. The aroma is malt, light toffee caramel, fruity, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, malt, light pepper spice, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

1 litre growler from the brewery. Poured a clear copper colour with a short-lived bubbly white head. The aroma is malt, woody, light floral hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, light buttery toffee, piney, woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Rather amazing for a 3.7% beer. A classic English IPA.

500ml bottle from the brewery. Poured a clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, buttery, yeasty, juicy tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a fresh, crisp, fruity, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

330ml bottle from the brewery. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is lager yeast, malt, light gluey, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, malt, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

A classic English Pale Ale.

Growler at home, from the brewery thanks to Rob, 13/06/20. Golden amber with a well presented white cap. Nose is toasted grains, light citric zest, peach, tangerine, lemon tinged straw. Taste comprises lemon rind, biscuit malt, grass, melon, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine to soft carbonation, semi drying close with a modest trace of bitterness. Decent enough golde.

[On tap at the brewery.] A bright copper coloured pour with a thin cream coloured head; nutty aroma; sweet caramel taste; and an earthy finish. A straightforward malt lead bitter.

Cask at the Butchers Block, Marlow, 24/02/20. Rich Mahogany brown with a decent light beige cap. Nose is sweet malts, biscuit, toffee, dried fruits. Taste comprises dried fruits, raisins, toffee, dark malts, nutty tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent cask affair.

[Cask at the brewery.] A ruby red pour with a tight cream head; fruity malt aroma; malty taste with some black currants coming through and a biscuity finish. Better than average for a Rebellion monthly brew.
