8/8/2019. Cask at the 2019 Great British Beer Festival. Pours dark brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruit, hops, chocolate, toffee and coffee. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Slight sooty ash finish. Not keen on this one.

15th May 2019, cask half-pint in the Pen & Wig, Cardiff. Decent malty Bitter with a solid late bitterness. Dark amber body, off-white crown. Easy drinking with a little malt sweetness balanced by the hops for a good blend of flavours.

Sample@GBBF2018, London, with the Malmö crew - dark brown pour with a beige head. Sweet and lightly roasted notes of cocoa and brown sugar, dark fruit, caramel,medium body, dark malty roasted finish.

Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, light earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration. sweet malt, pale malt, earthy notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160811] 6-3-6-3-12

Half-pint, cask at The Red Lion Inn (JDW). Close to clear golden body, patchy surface, lacing rings down the glass. Vague herbal hops and pale malts on the nose. Mid-sweet ripe fruity flavours with bread. Average version of the style. (Morriston, Swansea 02.10.2018).

Cask-conditioned at the Patriot Bar, Pontypridd 7/7/2017. Amber in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Easy drinking bitter, with some hedgerow fruits, earthy malts and a lingering, bitter, finish. Fine.
