On tap @ Henrik. Cloudy almost murky in a way and it has a small light bubbly and sidesticking off-white head. Not way to much going on on the nose really. It's light nutty, yeah perhaps a bit more than light and it also has traces of chocolate, coffee, and after a while in the glass, lots of cocoa powder, dark malts and some forest. Quite nice after a while. Nutty flavors also, some alcohol, a bit nutty bitter perhaps, spices also found here but I haven't no idea which one. Ends with traces of burned grains and a little bit of alcohol. All in all its quite tasty and I would not mind having this again. 06.08.2013

Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly peated (!?), did NOT expect that at all, caramel malts, wet leather, shed, peat, almonds, bacon, grass, toffee. Taste is also peated, caramel malts, wet leather, peat, burnt caramel, almond essence, grass, shed, toffee. Longlasting bitterness, kind of dry mouthfeel. Fair enough, kind of interesting though.

Small light brown creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted, dark malts, roasted grain, coffee, chocolate, hay, roasted nuts, sugar. Taste is slightly sweet and dry roasted, dark malts, grass, sugar, roasted grain, burnt caramel, cardboard, hints of licorice. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and watery mouthfeel. Nice enough.

Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, dark malts, sugar, winegum, butterscotch, sweet licorice. Taste is slightly sweet and dry roasted, dark malts, grass, sugar, roasted grain, burnt caramel, cardboard, hints of licorice. Medium bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.

On tap at Kick, Kristiansand. Unclear, dark golden body with a decent off-white head. Aroma gives a nice malt impression with grassy hops, but unfortunately also some displeasing butterscotch. Same goes for flavor, a promising tasty pilsner with too much butterscotch. Medium body and aftertaste. Better luck next time.

Sampled at Bergen Ølfestival 2012. Slightly unclear amber with a nice, creamy and stable off-white head. Aroma is quite mild with just a hint of caramel malt and grassy hops. Flavor is really fresh and fruity with a soft, clean malt flavor and moderate grassy hops. Medium body and medium aftertaste with some of the same modest grassy bitterness. More fruity and rich in flavor than expected for a lager, quite tasty to be a lager actually. Enjoyable and really quaffable.

Draught @ Kick Malt & Mat, Kristiansand
Pours slightly hazy deep golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and orange. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Kick. It pours a hazy, dark amber body and a small, dense, light beige head. Some cooked vegetables and hints of diacetyl in the aroma, quite sweetish. Some bitterness in the flavor, and the same elements found in the aroma. Grass too. Soft, medium body. Lasting finish. Not very interesting. 130729

On tap at Kick. As Sognepils. It pours a hazy, dark amber body and a small, dense, light beige head. Some cooked vegetables and hints of diacetyl in the aroma, quite sweetish. On tap at Bergen ølfestival. It pours an almost clear body, dark golden in colour and topped by a dense light beige head. Grassy, light resiny hops and caramel maltiness in the flavour. Weak but pleasant flavour, caramel, grains, some cookies and a nice grassy bitterness. Medium body, nice carbonation. Caramel maltiness and a fine bitterness in the finish. Nice. 120908

On tap at Kick. Red deep golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hop. Flavour is fruit, malt, hop. Bitter finish. Medium body. OK beer.
