The brewery was founded by Ian & Domi Kimber, and together with Owen, Adam, Aled & Ian B, we brew great beer. The same care and attention goes into each and every brew, each and every step in the process, each and every cask, keg and bottle.

Bottle from Blas y Frwyd, Llanrwst. Hazy amber. Frothy foamy off-white head. Quite attractive. Aroma has citrus and rye and (associated) spice. Flavourwise it gains elements. Citrus, rye, spice, yeah. Plus caramel and a floral element. But overall we have a spicy rye core. Light-medium bodoes. Slick to oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. This just hits the spot with all I love about a rye inclusive ale. (Probably no rye in it.)

Old rating - A 500ml bottle brought back from my South Wales trip. Pours a deep black colour with a creme head. Aromas of caramel & malt. Tastes of caramel, toffee, coffee & malt with a dry bitter finish. Very good porter.

A pint from the cask at the Stackpole Inn. Redish in colour with a white foamy head. Tastes mostly of malt with some pine. Very enjoyable.
