375mL bottle, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nose is wild and funky, with lots of white wine barrel, oak, citrus zest, and some gentle berry notes. Flavour is very complex, with lots of white wine grape skins, wild yeast, and a touch of berry. Really vinous and complex in the yeast department. Dry and musty finish, without letting up. Lovely.

375mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden orange with a tiny head. Nose is full of mixed wild bugs, rustic saison yeast, and some gentle acidity. Flavour is full of wild bugs, with gentle sourness, light acidity, and some neural woodiness. Nice blend and expression of wild yeasts. Not the most complex but it's quite pleasant.

Flavour has that signature Burdock wine funk, with musty grape skins, a little citrus, and oak. There's a nice funk to it, but it's not got the depth or complexity of some other Burdock wine BA wild ales. Good stuff.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy pale golden blonde with a small white head. Nose brings out alcoholic notes from the sake, melon notes, and a little chardonnay. Flavour is quite alcoholic, with a sake-like heat, musty farmhouse notes, and a touch of melon. It's a bit chaotic and boozy, so it lacks the cohesion that Burdock beers are known for. But it's a kooky idea that they manage to do fairly well. Solid experimental beer.

A deep dark burgundy red Saison with a very thin dissipating head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light Brett, light lactic notes, light grapeskins, musty and complex. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with tart ground cherry, light lactic notes, Epsom salts, grapes, very nice. Bottle.

375ml (thx, Peter k.!) shared with Andrey @ home. Appearance: hazy purple with a rose head. Aroma: funky, fruity, blackberries, raspberries, barrel. Taste: along the same lines, some residual sweetness, quite dry, a bit woody. Overall: pretty nice, complex, and balanced.

A hazed yellow blonde saison with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light lemony notes, tangerine, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with nice pungent, tangerine, very nice. Can from Lupulus.

375ml (thx, Jacob B.!) @ home. Appearance: a bit hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: funky, barrel, fruity. Taste: along the same lines with salty notes. Overall: pretty good and pleasant, however, I liked the original version better.

Tasting at Phill's, bottle
Light blond colour, light haze. Very nice aroma, original, vanilla cake, passion fruit, sweat, rubber. Moderately tart, but with underlying sugars, light funky character, white wine, softer and sweeter in the finish. Excellent.
