Gravicask at Spa Valley 9th Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Shiny naked surface, black in the glass, clingy lacing. Malt-driven nose, hints of earth and liquorice. Firm taste profile of dark malts and dark fruits, notes of liquorice and coffee, lightly spiced. Smoothly roasted malty end. Pleasant stout. (Tunbridge Wells 18.10.2019).

Bottle at the Buoy & Oyster, Margate. Hazy pale amber with a thin white head. Sweet orange, peach and tangerine up front, then a pithy bitter finish with a hint of grass. A little bit grubby, and the bitterness is maybe a tad overdone and loses the flavour a touch. It's ok though.
