Had this at Oxford Beer Festival, Oxford, Thursday 17th October 2013 My second beer of this festival and the second from this new brewery. I have to start by commenting on the fact that this is another good beer from Clarkshaws. This starts off a little sweet with chocolate prominent, good low to middling bitterness, I guess that this is a standard bitter (not 100% sure) if so the bitterness is about right. Fruity nose with citrus showing, malts come to the fore with chocolate again. Nice stuff and another popular beer with my work colleagues. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Had this at Oxford Beer Festival, Oxford, Thursday 17th October 2013 My first beer of the festival and I have to say I was very pressed. It is desribed as unfined but I believe that the brewery is vegetarian so no surprise there then. Really citrussy, drying there is a jolly decent bitterness. Not sure I get the honey sweetness but the bittersweet balance is good, a little spicy I guess. This was passed around my work colleagues and was a definate hit. A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov15 3.7
