Description
Bexar County Brewery was born out of the need for newer more creative beers to be produced in England. The days of only having a handful of styles of beers to drink are ending, and we are part of that change. A beer revolution is occurring, and I am proud to be on the front lines.

Please have a look around. Here you will find loads of useful information (and plenty of rubbish as well) about the brewery as well as updates on beers being produced and where you may find them.

Cheers!

Gravity Dispense at Pig’s Ear BF, London - 05/12/12. Lightly obscured dark brown with reddish hues - head quickly clears to zero. Nose is malt forward, caramel, pine, hops, jam. Taste is bitter fruits, hops, Frank Coopers Seville orange marmalade, bitter grapefruit, sweet jamminess. Full end of medium bodied, sweet and bitter in the finish. Decent.

Pigs Ear. Clear dark amber beer, no real head. Semi dry palate. Smooth dry malts, rich and showing some toffee. Dark marmalade hops turning sweeter. Trace of brandy underneath. Not bad but needs something to bring it together.

Pigs Ear. Clear dark brown beer, little suddy pale tan head. Smooth palate, a little dry. Very low carbonation. Big sweet Pecans! Dark chocolate and mild coffee. A little lactose. Well joined up. Dry finish. Good stuff. Hope these affable displaced Texans do well! Certainly bought big flavours to this modest abv mild.
