Poured from 500mL bottle. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Bread malt, mild caramel malt and light grass hops with hints of pine hops. Quite light, a bit safe, decent balance.

Can from Beer52. Orangey-gold with a thinning white head. A little too heavy on the prickly fizz. Biscuitty malt, a lot of orange and just a tiny hint of pine at the end. Sweet, little bitterness; not as refreshing as I was looking for but exceptionally easy-to-drink. Pleasant enough beer.

33cl can from Beer52.com. An amber pour with a billowing cream head; orangey citrus aroma; thin in the mouth with an orange juice body; then a rather flabby fruity bitterness to finish. Probably better if chilled to death before opening.

Bottle from McHughs. Imperial Black IPA. Dark brown with a frothy tan head. Aroma of chalky fruit. Flavour is a big fruit basket, sticky bitterness. Long lingering fruit bitterness.

Can at home in London - sourced from Kriso Wines. Pours clear, deep gold with a frothy, white head. Lightly faded hops in the aroma, some rindy orange, tangerine, faint pine needles, pale bread. Medium sweet flavour with a steady, bready pale malt character, augmented with subtly juicy tangerine, melon, mango, and mild piney bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty well balanced on the finish, if restrained, with more citrusy hops, pale bread, touches of grass, a bit more pine. Easy-drinking APA.
