Can shared at work. Chocolatey, earthy, somewhat roasty stout with oat touches. No trace of the sorachi, which is a shame cause I would’ve liked to see how it works in a stout. Oh well.

Can 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Hazy pale golden colour, good frothy off-white to white head, goodretention, fair lacing. Aroma fruity, stone fruit, pine, citrus zest. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, stone fruit, pine resin, citrus zest. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, mild bittersweet aftertaste, solid pale ale, light bitter till the end, solid, nice.

Can shared at tasting. Opaque black color, average sized beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, roasty a bit, very smoky, peated whiskey, band-aid, bitter. Ugh, not so good, not my style for sure.

On tap at the taproom. Nose is huge mango bomb, very nice. In taste it’s not that stunning tho, fairly fruity and somewhat tart, but that’s the end of it really. Softly carbonated (too softly imo) with light body.

On tap. Hazy golden with thin, quickly disappearing head. Nose is fruity and yeasty, typical Belgian-style. In taste it’s predominantly sweet with a touch of yeast. Closes with medium lasting sweetish finish, has light body and average carbonation.
