[ As Willimantic WilliBeer’D Solstice Saison ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, moderate yeasty, riped fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150811]

Cask at GBBF ’15, day 1, 11/08/15. Lightly hazed copper golden with a beige cap formed of bubbles. Nose is light citric shavings, melon, straw, hint of spice, buttery notes. Taste comprises bitter orange, farm yard, tangerine, citric peel, bready notes, light yeast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. A long way from being a great in the style.
