Cask at GBBF 2015. It pours clear deep gold with minimal head. The nose is quite subdued.... toasty, grainy, cereal, light spice, soft citrus and stone fruits. The taste is bitter, harsh grapefruit upfront, pithy lemon, hard bitterness, grass and some astringency with a peppery finish. Medium body and fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. A bit harsh in some aspects. OK.

Served in shaker at the brewpub. Cloudy orange amber, no head. Peaty tones to the flavor, medium body, slightly bitter lingering finish. Very enjoyable.

Served in shaker golden, clear, no head. Medium bodied with mild hops flavor up front and a malty finish. Disappointing as Willibrew beers go, but not unpleasant.
