Taster at the brewpub. Dark brown color, deeper than your usual brown ale. The third taster in my flight, but it still has a thin tan head hanging around. Nose is somewhat subdued, but definitely shows molasses. Taste is thicker and more whiskey-y than its abv suggests, thanks, perhaps to the corn. Great molasses center.

Taster at the brewpub. Hazy wheat ale in the glass. Mild nose with some spice from wheat malt, a note of coriander. Taste is nicely mild with noticeable hops adding to the wheat malt.

Taster at the brewpub. Gold color, slightly hazy. Nose hits just right with a light cranberry note. Just a light fruit taste with very little tartness.Just nice and flavorful, with light acidulated malt. Nice to start a flight with on anice afternoon.

Taster at Moby Dick. More deep black than brown. Last glass in this flight, and it's still holding a thin layer of tan foam. Smell of roast malt, and I'm thinking of molasses, since I'm still thinking of the previous Colonial ale. Taste has big chocolate and campfire roast malt. Flavor is actually a bit overpowering, but that can be expected at this style.

Cask at gbbf 2022 day 1. A hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is nutty, cereal, grass, mellow, light honey. Flavour is composed of light tang, green citrus, prickly carbonation, pear, cactus, floral notes. Grass. Palate is semi sweet, light, light tang, decent cask condition. Ok.

Can pour from the brewery. Wish I'd seen it was unfiltered before I poured it...Hazy dark orange with lots of floaties, nice sparkle, thin head with good retention and trace lacing. Aroma is apricot and caramel malt. Taste is apricot, citrus and caramel malt. Smooth, frothy texture, astringency, lively carbonation and tart fruit, lightly bitter finish. This may have suffered a bit from age (> 3 months old) but overly malty and doesn't mesh w/hops very well.

Brewery draught, 1/12/24. Clear, lighter brass. Small, white head quickly to ring. Clean, clear, crisp, minerally. Floral notes, light spice, crackery malts with a hint of honey-like character. Bitter, floral, spicy hops with crusty, crackery malts, just a touch thinner/lighter than it should be. Very clean and snappy otherwise. Great flavors. Just needs a bit more maltiness.

Brewery draught, 1/12/24. Quite hazy, blonde-golden. Small, white head quickly to ring. Not a ton of aroma, though it's serving on a wide mouth, convex glass is certainly not helping. Nor the ice cold temp. Still, it's clean and hoppy with pine, citrus and spicy greenery. Bit of rustic character and interesting mineral or earth. No booze or resin. Biscuity, crackery, but also with ample soft malt depth and good attenuation. Lots of pine, dry citrus and spice. Clean yeast, well-executed all around with more bitterness than usual for the style, but it's balanced nicely.

16 oz can. Thank you Tom on the share. Aroma has light cracker malt, soft yeast. Flavor follows with mild hop bitterness. Balance between sweet grain and hops. Crisp texture. A nice craft lager.
