Poured from a 2024 vintage, 500 ml bottle.
Aroma is malt forward with lots of chocolate and roast notes along with some dark caramel, toffee and burnt sugar. Moderate notes of cacao nibs and coconut with hints of ginger. Medium light bourbon and alcohol notes.
Pours jet black with a small, thick, mocha head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers. No lacing and long legs.
Flavor is fairly sweet with lots of chocolate and dark caramel notes along with some lighter roast and toffee. Moderate bitterness and medium alcohol notes. Moderate cacao nib notes with light coconut and faint ginger. Medium light bourbon and light oak notes.
Mouthfeel is full bodied with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a decent barrel aged stout with nice malt notes. The bourbon character is nice. The coconut is a bit oily, but the flavor is nice and not like sun tan lotion. The cacao compliments the malt notes. The ginger is light and well balanced.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Strong coffee and bourbon, roasted malt, chocolate, espresso, booze. Medium sweet, bit boozy, full body with a somewhat sticky feel. Lovely.

Bottle shared by CLW--thanks, Chris! Cola brown, no sparkle, head, nice viscosity, no lacing. Aroma is nice bourbon, caramel, raisin, sweet sugar. Taste is strong bourbon, caramel, lime, sweet fruit in good balance. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste, faint chili warmth. Not exceptional but good.

500 ml bottle. Aroma is tamarind, mild pepper, and a very soft barrel. I’ve never had a tamarind margarita. Nor would I ever order a tamarind margarita. Not any in any way but… I have no point of reference. I mean they make this but I am still waiting for a Peanut Butter Cup Bourbon County? The fuck??

Little cloudy red brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: oh yes, lovely, old school B.A. barley wine. Lots of bourbon, vanilla, caramel, sweet impression, sugary, more vanilla, very intense, love it! MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: yes, lovely barley wine (or wheat wine, it turned out, I didn’t get a good look at the bottle), all vanilla and bourbon, alcohol, good bitterness in the balance, caramel, gentle roast, malty, rich and luscious. Aftertaste: vanilla, sweet and malty, caramel, a bit earthy, more alcohol, sweet, good stuff!
