Description
Goose Island Beer Company began as a single brewpub opened in 1988 by John Hall. By 1995, John’s beer had become so popular that he decided to open a larger brewery, along with a bottling plant to keep up with demand. 1999 brought even more growth, along with an additional brewpub, and today, what was once one man’s pint-filled dream has become the Goose Island empire you know and love.
in 2011, Goose Island Beer Company was acquired by Anheuser-Busch InBev. Since then, we’ve continued to brew beer that we’re proud of and now we get to share these beers with our friends both nationwide and internationally.

19/X/25 - 1Pt. 0.9Fl. Oz. bottle @ BBGG Fall ‘25 (home), BB: 11/VIII/26 GI 15:08 (2025-1058) Thanks to Maakun for sharing the bottle!
Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very oxidized, lots of coffee, good roast, nice, a little bitter, coconut notes. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots and lots of coconut, bourbon, lots of chocolate, acidic. Aftertaste: sweet, caramel, sugary, sourish touch, funky, lots and lots of chocolate still, spicy touch, alcohol, sugary, some cola I guess, but it’s pretty subtle.

Bouteille 50cl à Belgian Summer Beer Gathering, merci.
Anno 2021.

Can shared at "ZZT nieuw leven in blazen"-tasting. Opaque black color, small to average sized dark brown colored head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma and flavor are malts, soft roast, red fruit, a light cherry stone bitterness, distant chocolate hint. Okay.
