Bottle at Guest Izakaya. Pours cloudy golden with disappearing white head. Funky, wet wood, slighty zesty and with some minerality. A bit of barrel shines through to give a touch of sherry, but it's well integrated with everything else. Solid!

2018 Bottle at Guest Izakaya. Deep golden with small, white head that quickly disappears. Fruity nose wit plum, strawberry, mango and touch of apple. Dry, vinous with loads of minerals. Touch of funk. Great stuff!

Bottle at Guest Izakaya. Pale peachy pink with almonst no head. Fruity nose, subtle slight cherry rum profile with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. Touch of cranberries without that tartness, tannins or bitterness, very cool!. Rounded apple notes. Quite restrained and dialed back but that works super well here.

Bottle at Guest Izakaya. Cloudy yellow with almost no head. Quite a bit of citrus, some spices, wet oak. Slightly earthy and dry. A bit more intense in flavor than chanterelle, but all in all very similar profile.

Bottle at Guest Izakaya. Hazy pale yellow with brief, white head. Tart citrus and stonefruit, borderline white wine vinegary note. Light body, highly refreshing but still some wet oaky and muskey. Notes. Excellent low abv cleanser.

Tap at Guest Izakaya. Hazy peachy pink with brief head. Quite tart with loads of berries, a bit of peach and vanilla. Cinnamon is thankfully only a slight tone which brings a bit of dryness. Very nice.
