Description
We are always busy creating taste sensations, always looking for improvements or new flavours and optimizing our beers. Our beer is pronounced, complex, balanced, often full and soft in texture. We donβt brew beer for everyone, we only brew beer for people who love pronounced flavours. We do this by constantly tinkering with our recipes in search of perfection, we want to brew beer that is considered legendary. One has to tell stories about how great the beer of the Moersleutel is. Anyone who drinks our beer must be spoiled for life and must want nothing more.

Pitch black pour with a smal, lively, dark tan head. Notes of dark chocolate, molasses, roasted coffee beans, light oxidation, ash, smoke, roasted malts. Full body, thick, low carbonation.

Cloudy blond with thin soapy head. Intense aroma of syrupy citrus fruit sugars. Flavour is similar but also very bitter. It misses some freshness and carbonation.

8 3 8 2 16 Draft at Frontaal. Very cloudy murky straw with a white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, pineapple, it smells like hop burn, you know what's coming. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter. Medium bodied with some definite hop burn and soft carbonation.

Yum! Thick and semi-sweet base, with just the right amount of peat. Can these guys make any bad beer?

37.5cl bottle: BB May 2021. Shared on 30th Oct 2017 at the monthly beer exchange in Chez Sophie, cheers Mat for this offering. Black bodied, tanned topping. Coffee and chocolate aroma, taste and flavour. Slick, oily and rich, yet not overpoweringly so. Very drinkable if you like your Impy Stouts.

375ml bottle, from trade with monstermagnet shared @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 17 part 2. Pours dark, small deep tan head. Lovely aroma of coffee and dark chocolate. Taste presents some rich chocolate, coffee roast, dark malts, subtle vanilla presence, quite light bodied. Decent introduction to this hyped brewery.

Tap at beerlovers bar. Pours unclear blonde. Smell is fresh, hoppy, fruity, full. Taste is minor yeasty. Ok kind of yeast, but not convincingly NE style. Bit too bitter for a NE style., but has a nice creamyness and fruityness. Very full. Nice body. I like it as a beer, and it is close to a NE style IPA, but not 100 pct fitting . Very nice beer nevertheless.
