Description
We are always busy creating taste sensations, always looking for improvements or new flavours and optimizing our beers. Our beer is pronounced, complex, balanced, often full and soft in texture. We don’t brew beer for everyone, we only brew beer for people who love pronounced flavours. We do this by constantly tinkering with our recipes in search of perfection, we want to brew beer that is considered legendary. One has to tell stories about how great the beer of the Moersleutel is. Anyone who drinks our beer must be spoiled for life and must want nothing more.

Thank you for sharing RB Crew! Sampled 375 ml. bottle @ GBF 2017. Murky really ugly milky orange plaster, thick white head. Nose is murky peach hop, murky yeasty, malt & plaster mess but with some actual nice hop. Taste is far less murky child aspirin, plaster, yeast, spoiled yeast, body is the same, murky plaster. Another Moersleutel beer where I really don’t get the love.

Thank you for sharing RB Crew! Sampled 375 ml. bottle @ GBF 2017. I am back at familiar territory meaning I quite like Bowmore & Islay whisky in general but most beers aged on those barrels not so much, balance is lost here for me, others dug but I didn’t. So far people worship De Moersleutel but I don’t really get it. Black, massive, massive tanned head. Nose is burned black liquorice, burned plastic, ashtray & massive peat. Taste is burned plastic, peat, rubbing alcohol, burned plastic, ashtray,… Taste is bit better than smell but still. Body is thick burned plastic, varnish.

Pours unclear blonde, good white head. Smell is bit yeasty, sharp bitterness, fruity hops. Taste is full, fruity, bitter, rather intense. Very overcarbonated. Bit yeasty. Why do people keep refermenting IPA’s? How counterproductive can you get.... Not bad at all, but not as great as what you’d expect for this kind of money.

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very sweet, fruity, lots of chocolate, little funky, red wine notes. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very sweet and sugary start, caramel, some vanilla and chocolate. Aftertaste: bitter touch, soft peat notes, little sourish, very roasted, some chocolate. Could've had more peat for all I care, but what a beer!

0.375 l bottle from ’Sterk Avondverkoop’, best before January 2018. Cloudy, dark amber with a thin, fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, very fruity and slightly grassy aroma of passion fruit, pineapple and some mango. Quite sweet, very fruity taste of pineapple, passion fruit, mango and a touch of strawberry yoghurt, followed by a short, moderately bitter, grassy and quite dry finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very pleasant, easily drinkable and highly refreshing, but it feels a bit unround and somewhat sharp. Still quite good!

Taste malts, dark malts, peat, liquor, malt bitter, slightly a touch of alcohol in the finish. Medium to full body, smooth velvety texture, soft carbonation. Nice.
