Tap at the Napier Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a clear medium amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light watery, light fruit, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

At a tasting, smallish creamy bubbly head, hazy orange color, with deep yellow hues, aroma of honey, dyacetil and cardboard, fruity flavor with the dyacetil coming through, light herbal bitterness. Too old but still drinkable.

(Can) Pours cloudy amber yellow with reasonable white head. Pleasant fresh aroma of pine and citrus. Nice palate with plenty of soft carbonation. Taste is good and evolves. The start is lightly fruity, white grapes, hint of pineapple, and some nice light malt in the background. The fruitiness gives way to pleasant hoppy bitterness, also over a nice light malt background. There’s quite a lot of pleasant bitterness in the long finish, with hints of white wine. Clever, interesting and very drinkable.

Half pint at Basement Brewhouse. Chocolate/cocoa nose. Mahogany red beer with thin white head. Flat mouthfeel, sweet chocolate finish. A little tangy fruitiness lingers. Stupidly easy drinking. Gone in two minutes.

On tap at the Gertrude Hotel, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and moderate piney hops presence. Flavour is well-balanced, with a nice harmony of roasted malt and piney hops. Gentle and surprisingly easy drinking for the style. Really nice.

440ml can into shaker. Smells of passionfruit, lemons, grass. Slightly hazy pale amber beer with a few lazy bubbles. Flat and bitter in the mouth. Finish is grainy and hoppy. A hint of bitter lemon and malt appear late on. A little one-dimensional but nice enough.
