Cask tried in two different pubs in Eltham (Eltham GPO and Bankers Draft) and the first pub poured dark brown and the next a dark amber colour....odd. Aroma wise, raisins, dates, walnuts, Christmas cake and licorice. Flavours of chocolate, ash, sultanas, dates and figs. Spicy warmth on the palate. Nice.

Cask at The Claret, Croydon. It pours lightly hazy amber with a thick, foamy white head. The nose is soft, juicy, peach, apricot, mango, brioche, brown bread and candied peel. The taste is punchy & bitter upfront, earthy, woody, resin, zesty orange, kumquat, grapefruit, malt is a bit chewy, varnish, light soap and some hop astringency with a lingering bitter-citrusy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. The most bitter and punchy beer I have ever had from these guys. Could be a bit more refined, but I quite like it. Not bad.

Aroma: Caramel malty and mild herbal.
Palate: Medium (light) body. Moderate sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average to soft carbonation.
Taste: Caramel malty, mild citric and mild herbal hoppy.
Overall impression: Ok session ale.

Cask@Baring Hall Hotel, Grove Park, London - amber pour with white head. Fruity and malty aroma and taste, some grassy hoppy notes, lemon, orange, some caramel sweetness, hoppy bitter finish.

Half pint, 4.2 % abv, poured from tap at the Four Thieves in Battersea. Clear pale straw coloured body. Film type layer. Poor lacing. Mild aroma of grass and pale malts. Flavoured with mid-sweet fruit with a scent of lemon. Dry oily hops to the ending. Slightly watered in the mouth. So and so. (London 12.07.2015).

Draft @ Bree Louise, Euston NW1. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty weak buttery hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy finish.

Cask half pint at the Jack Fairman (JDW), Horley. ABV was 4.8%. Copper colour, small white head. Malty aroma and flavour, some acidity, notes of English malt vinegar. Not in the best condition. Probably not a great beer even in better condition. Disappointing.

Bradford Beer Festival 2015. Copper-gold with a small head. Fairly floral but with malts and hops here too. It’s well balanced but not too appealing despite some toffee flavour.
