Golden blonde, clear, dense white head, good lacing
Aroma of soft fruits, light malt, faint nose
Taste of soft sweet fruits, light pale malts, some cereal, not much going on here but ok
Palate - light body, little oily. Finish as main flavour, bit dry, some light sweet fruits on tail
Overall - Standard golden ale, nothing exceptional here

Rating based upon my pint from cask at the Town Wall, Newcastle. Light golden colour, with a white head. Very nice, fresh, well hopped, citrus aroma (my colleague had this in bottled form at same location/time and dramatic comparative difference in aroma from a bottle from the cold of the fridge). Quite light body. Some bitterness to finish. Very drinkable.

Keighley Beer Festival. Deep dark red in colour, no head. Has an underlying sweetness throughout with some roasted malts apparent. Medium to high bitterness.

50cl bottle thanks to John Brash. Appearance - a darker golden than expected. Decent head retention. Nose - cornflakes with just a hint of green beans. Taste - more green beans and pale malt but just a touch of cardboard, though I’m not sure it’s an off taste. It’s more like a note that culminates from the combination of hops and malt. Palate - light to medium bodied with a long dry finish. Overall - not bad, quite solid really.

500ml bottle, Admiral Lord Collingwood Ale. Pours a golden amber colour, thin white head leaving some lacing and aroma is malty, fruity. Taste is malt caramel, light citrus, some biscuit and a spicy bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite OK.

500ml bottle from the Head of Steam Darlington Railway Museum shop. Pours a golden colour, foamy white head that dissipates away and aroma of malt & grain with metallic notes. Taste is sweet malt, grain, some fruitiness, grassy and a spicy hop bitterness. Light bodied, well carbonated, dry finish. Quite OK.

Cask at the Anderson. It pours golden yellow with and a small white head. The nose is white grape, lemon, soap and hay. The taste is straw, soft fruit, green grape, orange peel, grainy and cereal with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Fairly standard golden
