Taste is quite sweet, toffee, bready, syrup pudding. Medium body, smooth, average to soft carbonation. Nice, but didn’t shake off the starchy notes.

Bottle at Hops, Crewe. Pours gold with a small frothy transient white head. [ Clear until the last swirl adds the yeast and makes it hazy ] The aroma has honey, yeast and butter. In the mouth it is bitter sweet with a creamy texture. Flavour has continental hops, yeast and bananas. A little sourness comes through later along with tracesof cloves and cherries, leading to a dry finish. Dit is lekker !!

Bottle from Beerwulf. Aroma is brown malt with caramel, cocoa, dried fruits, yeasty notes, toffee, nuts, powdery chocolate, toasted malt. Flavour is medium sweet with a moderate bitterness. Body is medium. Very tasty, lovely aroma, if the body were a bit more full this could have been smashing. But even with its medium body this is pretty delicous.
