Aromas are malt, toffee, with a little raisins, toast and brandy. Flavors are similar to nose with coffee and toast coming out a bit more. Mildly sweet with enough carbonation and bitter to balance. Fairly smooth. Not bad.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Clear pale golden colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, citrus, spice, wood, yeast. Taste is light malty, yeasty, bread, spices, grassy, with some citric bitterness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

26/4/2025. Bottle from Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Pours slightly hazy golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is floral, citrus, sweet malt, light spice, herbal, grassy, slightly earthy and yeasty. Moderate sweetness, medium developing bitterness. Medium body, oily, average to soft carbonation. Very nice earthy bitter finish. Enjoyed this.
