33 cl bottle from Más que cervezas, Madrid. Quite pricey: almost 6 €.

A hazy golden pour with an abundant, firm, quite lacing, off-white head.

Aroma is coriander, recently mowed lawn, poppy seeds, orange peel, some porridge and a hint of honey.

Dry, medium-bodied, not overfizzy. Slick, not too bitter, medium to short-lived finish. Very nice in its subtlety.

Bottle at Wild Honey in Valletta. Pours deep copper with an off-white head. Nose is dried fruits, caramelized brown sugar, toasted malts, bready notes and a faint herbal touch. Taste is prunes, berries, caramel, toasted malts, sherry, and bread crumbs. Closes with a long lasting, sweet, bready and toasty finish, has a medium to big body and soft carbonation. Very much my cup of tea all in all.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.4%. Deep ruby colour, moderate and creamy beige head, nice lacing. Aroma of malts, dark dried fruits and brown sugar, some herbal and earthy hops too. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements, more hops than in most Belgian trappist ales. Very good beer.
