330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, snow white head. Zesty, citrusy fruity and slightly herbal-grassy, hoppy as well as slightly biscuity, minimally spicy, pale malty aroma, hints of lemon, lemongrass, a touch of nettle, cracker, lemon biscuit. Taste is herbal-grassy and slightly citrusy fruity, minimally earthy, floral hoppy, slightly biscuity, pale malty basis, hints of lemon, lemon balm, lemongrass, lemon biscuit, lemon oil, lemon peel, a touch of nettle; malt and hop dominated, not that much yeasty action for the purpose of self-portrayal going on here. Oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy palate, fine, soft carbonation. Balanced, homogeneous, quite some subtleties, highly drinkable - very nice. Definitely more an English Golden Ale than a Belgian one.

330ml bottle bought from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. Very light gold, a little hazy with a small white head. Yeasty aroma, buttered toast, dried grass. Tastes bittersweet, light notes of honey and berry. Turns to an astringent hitter at the finish. Light to medium body with carbonation on a heavy side. Quite a lovely beer.

330ml bottle. Clear golden, white head. Aroma of bready malts and spicy yeast, hedgerow fruits. Taste has some peppery spicy yeast, bready malt, fruits, caramel, light bitterness. Medium bodied. Very nice. English yes, but the Belgian influence is evident.
