33cl bottle in snifter glass. Dark, opaque brown with a short lived foamy tan head. Mild malty aroma, flavour has dried fruit, malt, booze and a light spicy finish. Decent, but I was expecting more

Bottled 330ml (home)
Dark ruby colour, firm small beige head. Aroma has plum and wood. It is also a bit perfumic and yeastyness is lurking. Medium-bodied. Dark malts, nuttyness, plum, caramel in the flavour. Light alcohol touch. Yes indeed this is kind of cross-over between Belgian dubbels and English eg. Fullers stronger ales. Nice sweetish aftertaste. If it could be a bit more robust, it would earn even some more points.

Bottle picked up from Favourite Beers, Shared with Craig and Stella, Wednesday 7th August 2018 Pours hazy reddy, brown, amber with an off white head. Lots of sticky, chewy bonfire toffee, really, really like this. Soft in the mouth, a little chewy, this is a lovely beer. This is a bargain at less than £3 a bottle, will be very interesting to how a couple of bottles laid down will develop. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0
