Slightly hazy pinkish colour, white head. Bretty aroma, raspberry, sweetish, caramel. Rather sweet flavour, light sour, quite fruity. Finish brett, light raspberry.

Bottle as "double port" stable fluffy head, hazy dark brown colour, aroma of dark bread, caramel and chocolate cake, flavour of dark fruits, dark bitter chocolate, dark bread and caramel, quite sweet but mellow and not cloying, very smooth and easy to sip, suprisingly light for a 9% brew, excellent with grilled entrecote. Highly enjoyable

[ As Broeder Jacob Gijle Bock ].Clear medium to light dark red brown color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, brown sugar, sugary malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, brown sugar, yeasty, light caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic - phenol. [20130928]

Tap @ Kafe Belgie. Black colour, tan head. Nose is coffee, espresso, roasted malts. Flavour is roasted malts, espresso coffee, wood, maybe bit of dark and dried fruits. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. Nice stuff.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein helles bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig süß, alkoholisch, Nüsse, Früchte. Geschmack sehr süß malzig, dunkle Früchte, hefig, leicht alkoholisch.
