500ml bottle from Scrattings. 2017 vintage 5.2%. Orangey gold colour, short-lived foamy white head and aroma of fruity apple, some caramel. Taste is sweetish, fleshy apple, alittle tartness, some baked apple, caramel, and hints of apple skin and earthy tannin. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, medium-dry fruity finish. Nicely drinkable

500ml bottle from Scrattings. Bright golden colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of mellow baked apple, some funk. Taste is tangy, apple, leathery horseblanket funk, sweetish, woody and alittle light earthy tannin. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, medium-dry tangy apple finish. Nicely drinkable.

500ml bottle from Scrattings. Golden colour, white foamy head that dissipates away and aroma of orchardy tangy apple. Taste is fruity apple, juicy, orchardy, some light woody, leathery funk and bittersweet, with alittle drying tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tangy finish. Quite drinkable

500ml bottle from Rich's Cider Farm. Pours clear pale green, moderate carbonation. Aroma of pear drops, taste has a bright sweetness, perry character reliant on a lightly syrupy pear drops flavour. Reminds me a bit of kopparberg. Surprised a small cidermaker like Rich's would make something like this. Not the best.

500ml bottle from Richs' Cider Farm. Drunk on a wistful Saturday evening listening to Soundgarden. Pours clear gold, sparkling. Aroma is rich, sweet, with some stewed apple. Taste is clean with some nice fleshy sweet fruit, stewed fruit, light bitterness. Good medium dry.

500ml bottle from Rich's Cider Farm, shared with Soph at Wimbleball Lake. Pours a generally clean deep amber orange. Aroma has nice fleshy stewed medium apple fruit. Taste is fairly characterful, a bit more going on than other Rich's cider, nice soft tannins, woody bitterness, fleshy fruit. Decent Harry Masters Jersey showcase.

500ml bottle (2017), pours clear yellow, light sparkle, smooth mellow medium apple fruit on the nose, continuing to taste, clean overall with minimal tannin or acidity. Good easy-going afternoon cider.

500ml bottle from Rich's Cider farm, drunk at Wimbleball Lake, Somerset. Pours a clear deep orange, aroma of light boiled orange sweets, some vague apple fruit. Taste is, as expected, fairly clean and light, some gentle marmalade, orange sweets, though I'm not too convinced its a combination that works. Any more and it'd be off-putting, but it's just about ok..

500ml bottle from Rich's Cider Farm. Drunk at Wimbleball Lake whilst cooking ribs and some Pork & Apple burgers from Sheppy's Cider Farm. Pours a clear bright gold. Aroma is fairly light medium fruit. Taste is exceptionally clean, balanced, lightly fruity but a touch bland like much of Rich's shiny branded bottles. It's fine, and great for a hot Summer's evening like today, but I find myself itching for more characterful apple flavours.

500ml bottle from Rich's Cider Farm. Pours clear gold, still. Aroma is fresh, fruity with medium apple fruit, continuing to taste with a clean, fruity character, not hugely characterful in terms of the single varietal used, but quite balanced and drinkable.
