Cask at the brewpub. Pours lightly hazy gold with a slender, white cream topping. The aroma has notes of crispy biscuits, minerals, hay, orange peel. Light sweet flavor with pine needles, lots of copper tang, pale bread, vague citrus notes. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with faint oily pine, crispy pale malts, more copper, tin. So so overall.

Cask at the brewpub. Opaque black coloured pour with reddy hues and a lasting halo of mid tan head. Aroma is some lactose sugars, milky roast, burnt pine needle, funky citrus. Flavour is composed of semi sweet malts, slight jammy fruits, roast, burnt toast and then big Ott citrus hop bitterness. Out of balance. Back of the throat dirty rough bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, rounded. Moderate cask condition. Too much bitter. Lingering bitter coffee and dirty cleaning product citrus.
