Clear dark brown to black beer, big creamy beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty smell, lots of cow fodder, grains, barn yard, gentle roast, some coffee notes, overall a very rural character. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter start, hoppy, bit resinous, slightly fruity, good harsh roast, bit matly. Aftertaste: very bitter, some sweet malts, bit sugary, dark roast, some dark chocolate and cocoa powder in the finish.

Bottle. Golden orange pour. Aroma of yeast esters, vanilla, oak, caramel, bready malt, orange, mango and pineapple. Taste has creamy orange, vanilla, yeast esters, bitter mango, pineapple, bready malt, some rum booze and a boozy bitter finish. This has a nice old school feel to it, good bitterness and malt flavors. Nice.
