Pour is a murky brown with a huge white head. Aroma is some old shoe leather with some brown sugar. Flavor is a whole wheat bread and grain with a dry earthy mustiness. Finish goes away quickly but leaves some caramelized sugar on the tongue. Really malty but those malts turn out to be really flavorful as well.

Bottle. Straw beer with a big white head. Tart and light lemon aroma with light grapefruit. Sour and grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. Light sour and grapefruit lingers with light lemon.

Bottle from the dregs run. Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of molasses and liquorice. Pontefract cakes. Some raisins too. Taste is fruitier, prune juice maybe. More sweet dark sugars. Sweet finish.

Cask gravity @ GBBF 2016. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel chocolate aroma. Roasted malty caramel and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty caramel and chocolate finish.

Bottle at home. Slightly unclear, pale yellow with a fizzy, disappearing white had. Fresh, bright, tart citrus aroma with oak, some funk and grapes. Loads of minerality in taste with a bit of oak and brett. Dry, slightly bitter, woody finish.

Milk and Hops: poura hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is rather light but there is slight citrus and fruitiness. Taste is tropical frui. Kind of lightly sweet. Not very bitter. Not bad.

Bottle from Firma Bier now Beer Republic, batch nr has become unreadable but I guess it is a couple of years old now, 75 cl (or what is left of it after some steady gushing). Cloudy golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma of funky bubblegum, slight apple cider and oak wood, and zesty citrus and tropical fruit (reminding me a bit of the Crooked stave witbier series). Slight sweet and tartish tropical fruit, funk, bubblegum. Quite dry, some bitterness in the finish as well. Good one.

Poured from a 375 ml bottle. Aroma is very fruity with lots of pear, red apple and banana. Some caramel and light honey notes. Faint coffee character. Pours a hazy, copper orange with a medium large to large, frothy, white head that steadily falls into itself leaving some clumps on the edges. No lacing or legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet at first with some light caramel and honey notes. A bit of a white bread note as well. Lighter fruit notes than in the aroma, but with the same profile. A lot more coffee that comes across as fruity and nutty with just a but of light roast. Medium light bitterness. Hints of acidity. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer. I wasn’t expecting to really like this beer, but the the coffee has such light roast notes and adds some good fruit and nut notes.
