Description
Trillium Brewing Company was founded by JC and Esther Tetreault, a young dumb couple in love, planning their wedding and dreaming about how they would spend their lives together. The desire to build a brewery was about more than just making beer, it was about creating a way of life and building a community with which to share experiences. A beer geek and botany nerd, JC chose the trillium flower to represent what we strive to bring to our beer and our lives: beauty, strength, simplicity, and balance. We operate a brewery and taproom in Canton, MA as well as a full service restaurant and brewery in the Fort Point neighborhood of Boston. We also operate seasonal pop-up beer gardens around the city of Boston under the Trillium Garden project.

Bottle shared by deeblo, thanks Bruce! Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of oak, vanilla, nice tartness, grape, wheat, lemon. Flavour is light oak, light tartness, grape, wheat, lemon, light funk, bitter finish. Light bodied. Great stuff.

Bottle thanks to Brian! Pours quite hazy orange, large creamy off-white head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is dank and sweaty, spruce and sex. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, again dank, steamy sweaty, dark rooms and hopeful groping. Lightish body. Really really good.

Pours gold into a tulip. White head with excellent retention recedes leaving trailing spiders. Mocha and caramel aromas. I’ve never had a caramel macchiato before, but I imagine this comes pretty close. Caramel, cream, vanilla and mocha upfront turning warming to mild, bitter espresso in the lasting finish.

750 ml bottle dated 03 04 15… thanks to Willrunforbeer, awesome! Murky straw color with some light head in the snifter. Aroma is great, leafy green dank notes. Love the onion and scallions notes. The flavor shows a nice level of pale malt backbone with citrus to balance the danky notes. Great mouthfeel, fuller side of medium.

750 ml bottle, 4 hours old shared by Eric A. Thanks man! Bright gold color, aroma is most resembles Amarillo hops. Citrus, grapefruit and mild grain. The flavor is big on citrus, traces of orange and grapefruit hints. The bitterness is low with a juicy texture that also has a mild pine undertone. The finish is damn clean without any alcohol notes. Damn, this maybe a one trick IPA but the brewer does it very nicely.

Bottle thanks going to Eric A. on this bad ass brew. Aroma of garlic, scallions and leafy green hops giving a stinky weed dankness. Flavor is just flat out good! Starts with thick juicy fruit that turns into a mildly danky weed, onion and grassy hints. The texture turns dry that has a very refreshing, crisp finish. Limber Galaxy hops that has a very low bitterness level. Damn, this is awesome....

Thanks guys for sharing. Hazy Orange, almost no head. This was a 750ML picked up today @ Trillium. The aroma is stupid crazy good. Tangerine, grapefruit, special super duper awesome juicy fruits. Taste is great. You get a really good melding of grapefruit, tangerine and other fruits. almost no residual sweetness. Good sweet taste. Incredibly clean. almost no booze at all. delicious overall.

Bomber, 2 days old. Very hazy bright orange with a 1 finger big bubbly head. The aroma is insane. Insanely juicy galaxy hops, tangerine, citrus, grapefruit and a little sweet bread dough. Taste is great. Mouthfeel is good but not a juicy or bright as I was expecting. It’s herbal, juicy, grapefruit and tangerine. Really interesting beer and absolutely delicious.
