Description
Trillium Brewing Company was founded by JC and Esther Tetreault, a young dumb couple in love, planning their wedding and dreaming about how they would spend their lives together. The desire to build a brewery was about more than just making beer, it was about creating a way of life and building a community with which to share experiences. A beer geek and botany nerd, JC chose the trillium flower to represent what we strive to bring to our beer and our lives: beauty, strength, simplicity, and balance. We operate a brewery and taproom in Canton, MA as well as a full service restaurant and brewery in the Fort Point neighborhood of Boston. We also operate seasonal pop-up beer gardens around the city of Boston under the Trillium Garden project.

On tap at Ridgewood, pours an opaque milky golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of hopburn upfront, stone fruit pith, and car exhaust/diesel. Flavour is full of diesel, pithy stone fruits, plenty of hopburn, minimal chalk though, and some light tropical fruits. Pretty clumsily made—amazes me people indiscernibly praise this nonsense. Meh.

16 oz can from Half Time, 4/3/26. It pours a fully hazy yellowish color with a foamy / frothy white head. Bright and tropical around of mango, passion fruit, papaya, and guava. Taste turns more toward the pine / pineapple side (especially toward the close), but still a boat load of tropical juiciness (especially up front). Drinks smooth and creamy. Really good stuff. I remember really enjoying Congress Street the first time I had it about a decade ago, and this is also a banger. Happy 13th Trillium!

Grapefruit and pineapple. Pours murky yellow with pretty good head. Light hop tang finish with a hint of candied marmalade, but doesn't cloy. Can at Beer Run.
